Your first telehealth visit is longer than a standard appointment. We use this time to understand your full health picture — not just the reason you’re calling today, but the context around it: your medical history, current medications, family history, lifestyle, stress, and goals.
You will leave your first visit with a clear understanding of what we will focus on, what labs or screenings may be needed, and how follow-up will work. There are no surprises and no rushed conclusions.
Preventive Screenings & Wellness
Prevention is not a checklist — it is a conversation. We review age-appropriate screenings, vaccination status, and risk factors at every annual visit, and adjust recommendations based on your personal and family history. Screenings we coordinate include blood pressure and cardiovascular risk, blood sugar and metabolic panels, cholesterol, thyroid function, cancer screenings (breast, cervical, colon, lung as appropriate), bone density, and immunizations.
For children and adolescents, we review developmental milestones, immunization schedules, growth, and behavioral and emotional well-being at regular intervals.
When We Refer
Primary care is the hub, not the limit. When your care requires specialist input, in-person examination, imaging, or procedures, we coordinate referrals with trusted partners in Maryland. You will always know why a referral is being made, what to expect, and how the results will be integrated back into your ongoing care with us.
All primary care visits are conducted via secure telemedicine for patients located in Maryland at the time of the appointment.
